My first car, a 1964 International Scout. The engine had been replaced with a Ford 289, and the rest of the drivetrain was a mismatch. The transmission roared while on the freeway but it was an awesome truck for a 16 year old.
As you can see from the above ad, I heavily modified it from stock. When I got it, it was rusty, cream colored with small stock tires.
The ad shows two kids sitting in the back, there were little benches but no seat belts----not a problem for 1964. I mounted a small bench that fit perfectly that had been in a school bus.
